    Monitor App Updates

    • The tech team have released the latest updates to Monitor, Version 1.0.6. Changes to the app include:
      • more robust app data validation to  detect data that is incomplete or not the correct data, this will help catch and prevent potential sync errors before they occur.
      • introducing push notifications to inform users about future updates, server downtime and remote assistance (including data dumps).
      • fixes to improve usability and fix bugs (such as clearer loading indicators and required (*) fields).

    • Please take a moment to update your Monitor app to Version 1.0.6. Make sure you have a stable internet connection for the update. You can view which version you are running on by going to the menu on the left of the Monitor screen and looking at the bottom of the list.

    EMSA Community of Practice

The Long-term Monitoring and the Biodiversity Data Repository (BDR) teams ran through a demonstration of how to retrieve your Monitor data from MERIT and explore it using GIS software. We explored how suitable this format is for users and what other types of data output users need.
