    Key activities for the week ending Friday 17th May, include:

    • Minor update to the FAQ regarding recommended tablets. Recent field trials have found the Samsung Active 5 tablet to be a great field rugged option.
    • A position is available to work with TERN on the EMSA Project. The Training and Engagement Officer will be involved in ddelivering the on-ground EMSA training program. For more information, and to apply, visit the UofA website. 

    Planning is underway for two upcoming events to be held in May:

    • ​EMSA Community of Practice Drop-in Session, scheduled for Wednesday 22nd May. For further information see Events and webinars.
    • Threatened Species Index (TSX) Workshop, scheduled for Tuesday 28th May. For further information see Events and webinars.

    Supporting the ecological monitoring community 

    EMSA is a collaboration between the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) and TERN Australia. 

    EMSA Support is hosted by TERN on behalf of DCCEEW. Our team is located at The University of Adelaide, Waite Campus, Paratoo Road, Urrbrae, South Australia.
