    Hi EMSA Community,

    The recording is now available for the EMSA CoP #11 'The Monitor live data cycle explained, the year in review and plans for 2026', find it on the Events and Webinars page. 

    CoP #11 topics:

    • The newly available data loop where Monitor survey data is available for download on the MERIT data set summary tab. 
    • A BDR summary
    • Monitor updates, including the new release planned pre-Christmas. Version 1.0.9. with Acoustics included.
    • 2025 training completed - Mylor (TERN DCCEEW practice run), Dubbo, May, Cairns, Aug, Perth, Sept-Oct, Launceston, Nov and Adelaide, Dec.

    On-ground training in 2026

    Planning underway for:

    • Victoria, hosted by Goulburn Broken CMA – late February/ early March, (alternative host Melbourne Water)
    • NSW/Vic - Wentworth or Mildura, March-April (avoiding Easter and school holidays)
    • ACT - Canberra, early May
    • NT - TBC
    • Southern Qld - TBC
    • Broome region - TBC

    Supporting the ecological monitoring community
