    Dear EMSA Community,

    We hope you are well and had a safe and happy start to 2026. 

    It's been great to hear from some of you as people return to the office and field. 

    Our team are always working on improvements to the Monitor app and developing new materials including videos and training content to help you with your monitoring. Did you know that you can share suggestions and feedback through the EMSA Helpdesk? Fill out this form and select ‘feedback’ in the 'Assistance required' field.


    A new version of the Monitor app is now available.

    Features

    • Projects with the Vertebrate Fauna Module can now access the Acoustics protocol.
    • Improvements have been made to the editing feature in the Floristics Module.
    • Map features have been improved.

    The EMSA website now includes an ‘About Monitor’ page. This is a great place to go if you or one of your team or contractors is just getting started with Monitor https://emsa.tern.org.au/about-monitor

    Supporting the ecological monitoring community 

    EMSA is a collaboration between the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) and TERN Australia. 

    EMSA Support is hosted by TERN on behalf of DCCEEW. Our team is located at The University of Adelaide, Waite Campus, Paratoo Road, Urrbrae, South Australia.
