    Hi EMSA Community,

It was great to work with Grant Managers from Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) at the EMSA training in Canberra last week. The Australian National Botanic Gardens provided a beautiful setting to demonstrate and discuss the EMSA protocols and Monitor data collection app.

The EMSA training team are heading to Shepparton, Victoria next. The Shepparton training will be held from April 28th to 30th, If you're interested in registering, or for more information, head to the Shepparton training registration page.

     The EMSA on-ground training will:

    • Demonstrate key field data collection methods and techniques (including Monitor app data entry, equipment use and, data and sample management)
    • Build knowledge and understanding of how the EMSA protocols can be used by NRM projects
    • Improve understanding of EMSA module dependencies and data workflows
    • Provide practical experience selecting and laying out an EMSA plot; and implementing the vegetation modules
    • Assist in accessing additional resources and on-ground support.

For more information on training content visit the EMSA Website – On-ground training page.

As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the EMSA helpdesk team!

Happy long weekend!  🐣 the EMSA Help Desk will be closed from Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April, re-opening Tuesday 7th April 2026 🐣
